“Remote Sponsorship” (RS) involves contributing to the educational growth and
improvement of living conditions for a child in a developing country. The child remains
integrated into their local community and is supported “from a distance” by the sponsoring
family, which helps cover the costs of their schooling, food, and medical care.
Remote Sponsorship is available for children aged 0 to 12 and adolescents between 12 and 17.
At ANPIL, we currently operate in Haiti, Mozambique, Paraguay, Congo, and Guatemala.
Supporting a child remotely requires a commitment of €20 per month for one year. This means only €0.70 per day, less than the cost of a coffee. You can make your contributions at your preferred times and in the ways that suit you, and you’ll receive regular updates on
the activities of the child you’ve chosen to support.
Your contribution ensures direct intervention on-site for the child’s entire school year:
The annual contribution required is equivalent to the amount that ensures tangible intervention for the child’s life and growth in each country. Our goal is to guarantee each supported child food, healthcare, a complete educational path, and assistance for their community. For this reason, depending on the country, the current situation, and the educational journey, there may be multiple supporters for the same child.
The minimum period required to support a child is at least 1 year, which generally corresponds to the entire school year. However, Distance Support can be interrupted at any time.
First of all, love. Love from the child and their family for the concrete help you are providing.
The supporter will receive the Child Support Certificate, which includes their photo, personal details, general information about the Support Project, and all the contact information for ANPIL. Throughout the year, ANPIL will also send updated information and photos about the child and all the awareness-raising activities carried out
Local missionaries working with ANPIL identify the children most in need of help. Through the analysis of family conditions, the social environment in which they are situated, and the most evident issues such as malnutrition, health status, and enrollment in school, among others.
In the world there are millions of children living in precarious conditions, marginalized and exploited. No access to education and a life on the streets at the limits of survival. Sponsoring a child at a distance means offering a chance for redemption to at least one of them.
