National and International Adoptions: How to Navigate the Journey.

We assist couples in addressing the legal aspects of adoption by familiarizing them with adoption law, particularly focusing on the differences between National and International Adoption. We guide them through a journey on relational aspects to embrace diversity, difficulties, resources, and the ability to build emotional bonds, as well as the maternal and paternal roles in adoption. This journey is closely related to the child’s identity, understanding their history—both familial and from their country of origin—as well as experiences of abandonment, mistreatment, and the need for protection and acceptance.

The courses are intended for:
● Couples who have not yet expressed their willingness to adopt nationally and/or
internationally to the relevant Juvenile Court
● Couples who have already obtained the decree of suitability for international adoption
● Couples approaching a second adoption
● Couples with biological children
